1.Do not expect the hat to look as though it came off of an assembly line.  Every effort is made to have each hat of a particular design look exactly alike, but there will be some artistic differences .

2.  Straw hats can be dyed  to almost any color.  Wool and Velour hats can not be dyed. Custom dyeing  of straw is extremely time consuming and may take longer to achieve a color that has been requested. All colors are not apparent to the naked eye and it  takes a great deal of experimenting with dye to achieve the color desired. Custom dyeing uses up a lot of  materials in achieving a particular color.  Some colors are easy to achieve and many are not. Colors consist of primary, secondary, and tertiary colors, etc.  I. So be patient. Isis Fashions will not send you a custom dyed hat, until a satisfactory color is achieved.

3. In most cases, if all materials are in stock and the hat does not have to be custom dyed, you will receive your hat within a 2- 4  week period of time,   Hats are produced in the order received so keep in mind that there may be orders ahead of yours and it may take a little longer than the estimated time of delivery -anticipate your needs.  Also be aware that human frailties influence the time it takes to make a hat  i.e sometimes mistakes  are made and a hat has to be remade.

4. If you order more than one hat of the same design. There will slight artistic  differences in the way the hat looks.  All efforts are made to keep hats of the same design as close to the original design as possible. Remember that handmade hats have subtle differences within the same design.

5. Do not expect a hat to be produced as quickly as a manufactured hat is produced. Each hat is made to order and is made in  the order  received. All efforts are made to produce the hat in a timely manner.Some designs require extensive hand sewing , which  takes time.  Most of the trim is handmade which also adds to the time to produce the hat. Glue is sometimes used in making the trim, where hand sewing is not feasible.

6. Each hat is custom made with much attention given to detail- therefore  refunds. do not apply. Please see Order Information for refund details.

7. Be patient on "special order" hats. Sometimes it takes a little longer to come up with ideas if a hat -that is not depicted on the website- is ordered.
