Millinery classes   

 Learn the basics in  making a felt hat.

Individual instruction $125 per  session. Call to schedule sessions.

2 Day workshop $165.00 -  2  consecutive Saturdays  10:00 to 5:00
Hat Kit included: 1 hat body, grosgrain ribbon, wire.
A minimum of 6 students must be registered to create a workshop.

 For both individual millinery instruction and millinery workshops, student supplies -  pressing cloth(muslim or cotton). thimble, needles, dressmaker pins, tape measurer, hair dryer ( hand -held or bonnet), atomizer or spray bottle, a good steam iron, a pair of sharp scissors and   materials for trimming the hat.

 All payments must be received in full   prior to class attendance. Registering without payment does not guarantee a seat in class. Payment must be received to guarantee class placement. All Classes with  less than 6 students will be combined with  the next millinery class available to achieve the minimum of 6 students to a class. The maximum number of students to a class is 12.Please provide   an email address or phone number for contact, in case there is a change in the class schedule.

Method of payment accepted: check, money order or credit card.  Payments not received by workshop  deadline will be rescheduled for the next available work shop.

  Refund policy:
   
      100% refund - 45 days before scheduled date of class
         75% refund - 30 days before scheduled date of class 50% refund on               50% refund -  11-20 days in advance of class start date.
         25% refund on cancellations 10 days in advance of class start date.
        0% refund on cancellations less than 10 days in advance of class start date.

Hoods and Capelines

 Currently offering wool felt  capelines  and hoods -  most  are sized. wool felts imported from Poland . Capelines are about 60 inches in circumference, which should accommodate   up to a 5  inch brim, maybe a little larger.  All wool felt capelines are $10.00 each and wool felt hoods are $8.00,whether purchased separately or by the dozen. Please provide a telephone or a valid email address for notification of total due including shipping charges.

(Click on pictures to enlarge) Colors available for Hoods(wt. 90 grams)are : Beige, Black, Lt.Beige(Cloud) Maroon, Mauve, Purple, Red, Royal, Winter White. An email will be sent which will include a link to pay for your order. Checks will be accepted with a ten day waiting period. Please provide your email and/or phone number for total cost including shipping.  Customers will be charged tax when applicable, unless proof of business license is submitted(i.e. Business license) Shipping charges will be calculated upon filling order and taxes applied where applicable.
